Don't go shoplifting anything at Wal-Mart. They'll kill you. While undoubtedly accidental its obvious their security guards have no real training.

I'm not anti-capitalism. In fact, I believe its a very important part of democracy. Its just that in today's world companies have grown so large that we're losing the mom-and-pop aspect of business which fosters innovation. This website is an attempt to be a catalog or clearinghouse of information about how big-box stores and mega-chains are changing our society.
